The Division of Biological Sciences offers two graduate degrees: the Master of Arts (M.A.) degree and the Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree. Our graduate student community is made up of committed, enthusiastic researchers who are expanding knowledge about biological processes as well as educating and inspiring others in regard to scientific inquiry. Graduate students are the backbone and the heart of our department. They drive the research being done in our labs and also have a great deal of input on our teaching and our graduate education program.
