Dr. Downer is trained as a neuroscientist with extensive experience in higher education content delivery as well as high impact practices and coordination of STEM initiatives that focused on undergraduate research and professional development across disciplines. With this unique background she teaches both Biological Sciences and Neuroscience coursework as well as serves as the Division's Associate Director for Academic Access and Engagement.
