The Division’s Diversity committee is responsible for organizing educational opportunities and ensuring diversity and inclusiveness in all our living places.

One product of the committee is the Diversity Statement. This living document was created with input from the biological sciences community and first adopted by the faculty in 2015.

The committee holds regularly meetings. Reach out to one of us for more information. You may also contact committee members to talk about something going on in the department in a safe, supportive, and confidential environment or if you want to feel more connected to the department by having a conversation with someone.
