Teaches introductory biology and cell biology courses
Teaching descriptionDr. Gibson uses her experiences and passion for biology to promote inquiry-based learning within courses and work to enhance diversity through recruitment and retention of underrepresented students. Her goals are to help students develop a deeper understanding and appreciation for the fundamental role of biology within society and to inspire the next generation of scientists.
She teaches introductory biology courses for both non-majors and majors as well as a cell biology course for majors.
