Bio

My research focuses on questions in environmental toxicology and endocrine disruption. I investigate whether toxicants can cause disease at any time of exposure or if there are specific periods when exposure is particularly harmful. Additionally, I explore the potential impacts of chemical exposure on future generations. For instance, if our grandparents were exposed to certain chemicals, what effect could that have on us today?

I teach biological sciences to both undergraduates and graduates, a passion that I developed during my graduate studies. My goal is to create a welcoming and engaging classroom where we explore environmental issues and address current challenges. I use student-centered teaching methods and ensure inclusivity to make learning more meaningful in my courses. I want students not only to learn the material but also to develop the skills to research, evaluate information, and communicate scientific findings effectively.
