Competitive stipends and benefits

Competitive Postdoctoral Fellowships are available through the MU Life Sciences Program, and the MU Interdisciplinary Plant Group. Postdoctoral Fellows are encouraged to apply for individual fellowships, as they are available. Postdoctoral Fellows may apply for grants as Principle Investigator with the permission of their faculty mentor. Former Fellows have been highly successful in these competitions. Postdoctoral Fellows are eligible for health and dental insurance through the University of Missouri Group Health Insurance Plan. Family coverage is available through the same plan.

Postdoctoral mentors provide support to defray the cost of registration, lodging, and/or travel of Postdoctoral Fellows to national or international meetings to present the results of their research at MU.
