Our former postdoctoral fellows are highly successful

We actively recruit outstanding Postdoctoral Fellows from both national and international pools.

Our Postdoctoral Fellows spend an average of 3.2 years in their postdoctoral position at MU, as compared to the national average of 3.8 years in the life sciences. Many have won their own research grants from federal agencies during their tenure at MU. Slightly more than 83% of our postdoctoral fellows entered permanent positions in academia or industry directly after they left MU; 13% accepted a second postdoctoral position elsewhere.
