Genetic, cellular and developmental biology faculty

faculty member and postdoc fellow in the labThese faculty members use microbial, invertebrate, vertebrate, and plant model systems (including the most genetically tractable model organisms: Drosophila, zebra fish, Arabidopsis, and maize) to genetically dissect the regulation of growth and development. Their research interests include chromosome structure, gene regulation, repair of damaged DNA, interactions between mitochondrial and nuclear genomes, intracellular trafficking and the cytoskeletal architecture, and intercellular and intracellular signaling mechanisms that regulate early development, later growth, and aging in a variety of cells, tissues and organs.
