The research of Dr. Lori Eggert, associate professor of biological sciences, appears in the winter 2011 issue of Illumination, a magazine of MU’s Office of Research.
The Eggert lab combines field studies, molecular genetic data, and GIS analyses to understand the ecology and evolution of elusive or dangerous animals, particularly those of conservation concern. The featured articles focuses on Eggert’s studies of African elephants in Kenya and Gabon.
